We live in a vulnerable world. We numb our vulnerabilities through work, working out, drinking, smoking, medicating, consuming – whatever floats our boats. At the same time, we numb all these positive feelings: gratitude, happiness, love, joy. The fear of vulnerability stems from our deep-rooted feeling that we’re not enough. That we’re not worthy the attention and love of others.
