What a special treat to swim with the dolphins in natural habitat. Actually, they were sleeping while we tried to watch them from a distance. Dolphins are nocturnal hunters and snooze during the day. It took quite a while for us to find the right place from where we able to approach the dolphins without disturbing them.
We got up at 4.30 am to make the 6.30am call time and be out in the water for 3+ hours. If there’s a next time, I will get a wet suit because we froze quite a bit the last 2 hours. But it was worth the numb extremities and frost bites (Well, maybe not that extreme)
What a privilege to see raw nature so up close. And what a privilege to share it with the family at Astrid’s birthday.
To an unforgettable birthday
