The NY Times has a weekly column titled “36 hours in…” 5-7 spots to hit in a city when you have no time for real sightseeing. Our 36 hours in Los Angeles, consisted of Target, a visit to the hairdresser and optometrist, Whole Foods, Dry Cleaner and drugstore. And a quick dinner at Gingergrass and Red Lion in Silverlake.
We didn’t even have enough time to feel weird being at the place we called home for the last decades without having a home. The Clippers were making it to the second round of the playoffs, the Dodgers keep winning and Silverlake looked beautiful as ever from the sky. Everything seems to be all good and well in Los Angeles. Time to say goodbye for a while and move on.
Colorado Springs, here we come.
